In July 2019 we decided to do something that had never been done before in the fishing apparel industry, collaborate with a captain on signature pieces that represent their story.
We sat down with Captain Nick Carullo, Top overall captain in the quest for the crest sailfish series in 2018 & 2019, and brainstormed about incorporating his beliefs on what makes a good fisherman into his own hat.
This is the result of that, he lives by the slogan 'How you do one thing, is how you do everything'. It's the small things that end up making the biggest difference.
Its Nylon-based fabric (instead of the standard cotton) makes this hat extremely lightweight & breathable. Unlike hats made out of Cotton, our Pro-Series will not get the circular sweat stains and will retain its shape even after being washed or submersed.
Its side panels features a laser-hole based design, nylon & spandex based structure which provides for breathability as well a snug fit, perfect for when it's blowing 25+ knots.
